Sixty and Loving It

Just finished my first Avatar. It's a lot like children's games on the computer where they make their faces with mustaches and big noses and the like. The poodle skirt was one of my favorites-really had one -so did my 2 sisters--beautiful Christmas card send to the relatives.

Geneseo My Home Town

I was really excited to add the local newspaper to my bloglines account. My children live in this town and we will return their when we retire. We still have our house waiting for us! This is a good way to keep in touch with my former students, my friends, and my church news.

Digital Camera

I was SO excited when I learned to use my digital camera. It is the first, and only piece of technology that i can use without help. I think they call that user friendly. My printer-copier-scanner has a spot for the memory card. The printer just copies in miniature all the pictures on one page. You fill in the little ovals(just like a test) next to the pictures you want, and DA DA!! The pictures print- no Walmart or photo shop.

I found this darling picture, but for the life of me I could not get it to stop s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g the library card! It still was a cool idea to make the trading card and I could see doing this for my little ones at the library!

I could not believe how many beautiful and CRAZY items were posted on this Thing 5! I have yet to figure out how to use them in the Children's Dept. but I haven't have time to do a whole lot of thinking.

I picked this quote because I love to learn everyday, and I do! All my little ones in storytime are constantly teaching me. However, I fight tooth and nail when someone tell me I MUST learn something new. This is more pronounced when the something new is in any way a machine. I truly am mechanically challenged. The computer is a mystery to me. But as I love my job, I will endure this mission!
